Real estate photography may have a practical purpose, but Lia approaches each assignment creatively.
Every home presents something different. Sometimes a space is beautifully prepared and the architecture seems to speak for itself. Other times, Lia needs to look more carefully — changing her angle, considering the light, or finding an unexpected perspective that reveals the character of a room.

One of Lia's favorite parts of her work has little to do with cameras. It is the people she meets.
Photographing homes throughout Delaware has introduced her to wonderful homeowners who often share the stories behind the spaces she is photographing.
A family heirloom, a favorite painting, or a treasured piece of furniture can open the door to a memory and a conversation. Those encounters remind Lia that a home isn't simply a property being offered for sale. It represents someone's life.
