Sussex Cyclists and 2023 Resort Bicycle Safety Checkpoint Schedule!

SUSSEX CYCLISTS AND 2023 RESORT BICYCLE SAFETY CHECKPOINT SCHEDULE!!

The Sussex Cyclists are a great organization to join if you love biking!

They have planned group rides many days of the week, and do many fund raising events throughout the year

Some of things they do are a: 2 mile stretch of Cedar Creek Road in Milton that we clean twice a year in the Adopt a Highway program, Work with the Lewes Library with their Loopin for the Library fundraising campaign, Donate bicycles to local elementary schools for kids who can’t afford bikes.

They promote safe & enjoyable cycling in Lower Delaware The Bicyce Safety Checkpoints are starting for the summer season

The Sussex Cyclists co-sponsor this with DelDot who has a Bicycle Safety division

Sussex Cyclist members staff the checkpoints and assist in any way DelDot hands out helmets, lights, bicycle safety literature and they have a bicycle mechanic on site to check out bicycles that people bring in.
