- Cape Henlopen State Park –
- Gordon Pond Trail : Gordons Pond Trail is a 5.2 mile out and back trail located near Lewes, Delaware that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
- Walking Dunes Trail : Walking Dunes Trail is a 2.6 loop trail located near Lewes, Delaware that features beautiful wild flowers in the warmer weather, and is good for all skill levels. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
- Junction and Breakwater Trail : Junction and Breakwater Trail is a 5.8 mile out and back trail located near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and is good for all skill levels. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
- Pinelands Trail Loop : Pinelands Trail Loop is a 1.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Lewes, Delaware that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
- Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk :
- Visitors to Rehoboth Beach can enjoy a mile-long boardwalk lined with old-fashioned family amusements, attractions, beach stores, and good eats. The boardwalk is a year-round place for festivals, events, and daily strolls to enjoy the ocean views.
- Broadkill Beach in Milton:
- Broadkill Beach is a long strip of beach that bordering the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. It is quiet and peaceful and great for people that want to get away from the big crowds of Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City. It has a lot of natural beauty and you will see all kinds of wildlife since it is situated so close to the Refuge.
- Bethany Beach Boardwalk :
- The Bethany Beach Boardwalk is 1/2 mile long and has the beautiful beaches to view on one side and unique shops on the other side. Whether you’re looking for a casual walk or a daily jog, the boardwalk has become a favorite for many who wish to get some excercise.
- Edward H. McCabe Preserve and Greenway Trail, Milton
- The Edward H. McCabe Preserve features a variety of habitats, plants and animals within a relatively small pocket of the Delmarva Peninsula. Observe a wide range of Delaware’s ecosystems, including tidal marshes, upland forests and Atlantic White Cedar Swamp. A roadside parking area provides access to hiking trails. You can also canoe here on the Broadkill River.
